The Bishop Stang Spartans got by the visiting Archbishop Williams Bishops softball squad by a final score of 9-8 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record.
The Bishops now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington Catholic for a Catholic Central - Large battle on Monday, April 18.
