In Thursday's non-league contest, the Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA), by a margin of 14-5.
With the triumph, Austin Prep moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league contest on Monday, April 18. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 1-3.
In their next game, the Falcons play the Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) in a Northeast contest, on Wednesday, April 20. Danvers will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
