Baylor Red Raiders (Chattanooga, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Chattanooga Christian Chargers (Chattanooga, TN), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Red Raiders now sport a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Summit for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15. Baylor will face a Spartans squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Chattanooga Christian falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 18-4. Soddy Daisy won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion County (Jasper, TN)
