Butte Bulldogs (Butte, MT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Big Sky Eagles (Missoula, MT), 12-10 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hellgate for a AA Western challenge on Saturday, April 16.

With the loss, Big Sky falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Glacier (Kalispell, MT) to battle the Wolfpack in a AA Western challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Wolfpack enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Glacier lost 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Helena (Helena, MT)
