Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL), 14-5 in a league challenge.

The Blazing Trojan now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rich Township for a Southland Athletic challenge on Monday, April 18.

With the loss, Crete-Monee falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Peotone (Peotone, IL) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Peotone lost 19-4 in their recent league challenge against Coal City (Coal City, IL)
