Bordentown Scotties (Bordentown, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Northern Burlington Greyhounds (Columbus, NJ), 8-1 in a league challenge.

The Scotties now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Phillipsburg for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16.

With the loss, Northern Burlington falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Riverside (Riverside, NJ) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
