In Thursday's league contest, the Brennan Bears (San Antonio, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 19-1.

With the triumph, Brennan moves its record to 13-7 on the year. The Bears host Holmes (San Antonio, TX) to play the Huskies in a 6A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, April 19. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 16-10. Holmes won 8-7 in their recent league contest against Warren (San Antonio, TX)
