Alabama High School Softball - Shoals Christian loses to Cherokee

The Cherokee Indians softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Shoals Christian Flame to 2 in the Indians league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Cherokee improves its record to 14-12 on the year. The Indians host Waterloo (Waterloo, AL) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A Area 16 game on Friday, April 22. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 10-4.
In their next game, the Flame clash with the Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 18. Shoals Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 3-16 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL).
