The Clint Lions softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Mountain View Lobos to 1 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Clint moves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Riverside (El Paso, TX) to play the Rangers in a 4A Region I District 1 game on Tuesday, April 19. The Rangers come into the game with a record of 7-13. Riverside won 14-12 in their recent league game against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX)

In their next game, the Lobos play the Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX) in a 4A Region I District 1 game, on Tuesday, April 19. Mountain View will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record.
