The Clovis Wildcats softball team (Clovis, NM), was routed 15-2 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM)

Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a 5A District 4 test, on Monday, April 18. Hobbs will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Coyotes enter the test with a 10-6 record after their 9-3 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).

The Wildcats (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen enter the 5A District 4 test with a 16-0 record. In their last test, Carlsbad prevailed over Roswell (Roswell, NM), 9-3, in a league test.
