The Dalton Bulldogs softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Smithville Smithies to 2 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Dalton improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Louisville (Louisville, OH) to clash with the Leopards in a non-league game on Friday, April 15. The Leopards come into the game with a record of 1-4. Louisville lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Ursuline (Youngstown, OH)

In their next game, the Smithies clash with the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 18. Smithville will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Alliance (Alliance, OH).
