The Freeman Scotties (Rockford, WA) softball routed the host Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA), 16-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Scotties (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA). The Eagles go into the 1A Northeast bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Lakeside notched a victory over Deer Park (Deer Park, WA), 10-9, in a league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clarkston for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout on Saturday, April 16. Rogers will confront a Bantams squad coming off a 10-6 league loss to West Valley (Spokane, WA). The Bantams record now stands at 3-4.
