Southside Cardinals (San Antonio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX), 23-5 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now sport a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they host Southwest Legacy for a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Southside will face a Titans squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Titans record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Harlandale falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Southwest (San Antonio, TX) to face the Dragons in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 7-20. Southwest lost 10-2 in their recent league challenge against Floresville (Floresville, TX)
