Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) and the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA), witnessed Mathews's softball squad prevail over King & Queen Central by a count of 28-0.
The Blue Devils now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Essex for a non-league outing on Friday, April 15.
The Royal Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Middlesex (Saluda, VA). The Chargers enter the Tidewater outing with a 1-5 record.
