The King William Cavaliers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host West Point Pointers to 2 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, King William moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Cavaliers host Middlesex (Saluda, VA) to clash with the Chargers in a Tidewater game on Tuesday, April 19. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 1-5.
In their next game, the Pointers clash with the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) in a Tidewater game, on Tuesday, April 19. West Point will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 5-1 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Essex (Tappahannock, VA).
