Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Thornton Fractional South TBA (Lansing, IL), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Lemont HS now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sandburg for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. Lemont will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Thornton Fractional South falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tba travel to Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN) to battle the Governors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Governors enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Hammond Morton lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland (Highland, IN)
