Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chisum for a 3A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, April 22.

With the loss, Lone Oak falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Chisum (Paris, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 3A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 14-10. Chisum lost 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Rains (Emory, TX)
