Nevada High School Softball - Oasis Academy bounces Mineral County

April 14, 2022: Hawthorne, NV 89415

The Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV) softball routed the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), 17-3 in Thursday's league bout.

The Bighorns (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Northern bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Smith Valley notched a victory over Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV), 19-3, in a league bout.

The Serpents now possess a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra Sage Academy/ROP for a bout on Saturday, April 16. Mineral County will confront a Rams squad coming off a 21-6 league loss to Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Rams record now stands at 1-10.
