Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH), 10-7 in a league challenge.

The Zeps now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Buckeye Local for a Mid Ohio Athletic challenge on Saturday, April 16. Shenandoah will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Monroe Central falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Seminoles travel to Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV) to battle the Maroon Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 18. The Maroon Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
