North Carolina High School Softball - R-S Central bounces Polk County

April 14, 2022: Rutherfordton, NC 28139

R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Hilltoppers now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Buncombe for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 27.

With the loss, Polk County falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Landrum (Landrum, SC) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 3-5.
