Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Greyhounds now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Perry for a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Tuesday, April 19.

With the loss, Waynesboro falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 18. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Chambersburg won 13-7 in their recent league challenge against Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA)
