Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Dons now sport a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wasatch for a 5A Region 9 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Spanish Fork will face a Wasps squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Springville falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Salem Hills (Salem, UT) to face the Skyhawks in a 5A Region 9 challenge on Monday, April 18. The Skyhawks enter the challenge with a record of 12-4. Salem Hills won 8-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Corner Canyon (Draper, UT)
