The Spencer Greenwave baseball team (Columbus, GA), was overwhelmed 18-0 in Friday's league outing with the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA)

The Gryphons now hold a 18-8 record. They take the field next when they host Georgia Military College for a non-league outing on Monday, April 17. Academy for Classical Education will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 league win over Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-8.

Next, the Greenwave face the Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA) in a 2A Area 2 outing, on Thursday, April 20. Spencer will attempt to advance on its 5-14 season record.
