The Adams Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Samuell Spartans to 1 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 14-10 record. In their last match, Creekview was overwhelmed by Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX), 3-1, in a league match.
The Spartans (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Spruce (Dallas, TX). The Timberwolves go into the 5A Region II District 12 match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, Spruce was overwhelmed by Seagoville (Dallas, TX), 5-2, in a league match.
