The Carlsbad Cavemen baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Clovis Wildcats to 1 in the Cavemen league victory on Friday.
The Cavemen (16-4) will now prepare for their match against Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Wildcats go into the 5A District 4 match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, Clovis was overwhelmed by Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 14-2, in a league match.
