The South Point Pointers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Chesapeake Panthers to 4 in the Pointers league victory on Friday.
The Pointers (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers go into the Ohio Valley match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Ironton edged Rock Hill (Ironton, OH), 15-3, in a league match.
The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Trojans go into the Ohio Valley match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Portsmouth edged Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH), 10-6, in a non-league match.
