In Friday's league game, the host Moorefield Yellow Jackets baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs.
The Yellow Jackets (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Bulldogs go into the Potomac Valley game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Tygarts Valley was overwhelmed by Gilmer County (Glenville, WV), 11-1, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Moorefield (Moorefield, WV). The Yellow Jackets go into the Potomac Valley game with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Moorefield was overwhelmed by Pendleton County (Franklin, WV), 13-10, in a league contest.
