California High School Baseball - Oakmont loses to Ponderosa

The Ponderosa Bruins crushed the host Oakmont Vikings baseball team by a count of 9-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Bruins now possess a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Park for a Foothill Valley League bout on Tuesday, April 18. Ponderosa will face a Panthers team coming off a 4-4 league Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-7.

Next, the Vikings face the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a Foothill Valley League bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Oakmont will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Fighting Zebras enter the bout with a 10-5 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA).
