California High School Baseball - San Pedro gets by South

In Friday's non-league challenge, the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) baseball team the host South Spartans (Torrance, CA), by a count of 6-4.

The Pirates now possess a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Narbonne for a Marine bout on Tuesday, April 18. San Pedro will face a Gauchos team coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 10-9.

Next, the Spartans face the El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) in a Pioneer bout, on Wednesday, April 19. South will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 11-10 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA).
