The Amplus Academy Archers topped the visiting Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Archers now have a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. Amplus Academy will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league win over Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Vikings record now stands at 7-3.
The Pirate (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Somerset Sky Pointe gained a win over Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV), 2-1, in a league test.
