In Friday's league battle, the host Pueblo Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Amphitheater Panthers.

The Warriors (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers come into the 4A Gila battle with a 20-6 record. In their last battle, Salpointe Catholic lost by American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A Gila battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Amphitheater will attempt to advance on its 2-17 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 7-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ).
