The Farmington Scorpions baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Miyamura Patriots to 5 in the Scorpions non-league victory on Friday.
The Scorpions (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, Rio Rancho was overwhelmed by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 11-5, in a non-league match.
The Patriots (8-9) will now prepare for their match against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Wingate was overwhelmed by Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 20-8, in a non-league outing.
