In Friday's non-league game, the host Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Stansbury Stallions.
The Soaring Eagle (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Roy (Roy, UT). The Royals go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record.
The Stallions (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Utes go into the game with a 8-4 record.
