The Blacksburg Bruins baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Patrick Henry Patriots to 6 in the Bruins non-league victory on Friday.
The Bruins (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Salem (Salem, VA). The Spartans go into the match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Salem ran past Glenvar (Salem, VA), 14-4, in a non-league match.
The Patriots (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Northside ran past Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 6-5, in a non-league match.
