Harker Heights Knights (Harker Heights, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX), 9-3 in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Copperas Cove for a challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Harker Heights will face a Bulldawgs squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Midway (Waco, TX). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Temple falls to 0-2 on the campaign.
