In Friday's league battle, the Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC) lacrosse squad the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), by a count of 13-9.
Coming up next, the Skyhawks clash with the Camden Military Spartans (Camden, SC) in a Freelance battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Hammond will attempt to advance on its 10-0 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 22-0 league loss to Hammond (Columbia, SC).
The Cyclones now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laurence Manning Academy for a SCISA AAA Region II battle on Thursday, April 20. Porter-Gaud will clash with a Swampcats squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Spring Valley (Columbia, SC). The Swampcats record now stands at 4-8.
