In Friday's league outing, the host Alvin Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Alief Elsik Rams.
Coming up next, the Yellowjackets battle the Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 outing, on Tuesday, April 18. Alvin will attempt to upgrade on its 18-8 season record. The Bears enter the outing with a 1-11 record after their 24-18 league win over Alief Elsik (Houston, TX).
The Rams (7-23) will now prepare for their outing against Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region III District 23 outing with a 24-6 record. In their last outing, Dawson ran past Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX), 4-2, in a league outing.
