Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Allen Eagles (Allen, TX), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 27-0 record. They take the field next when they host McKinney for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Guyer will battle a Lions squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-15.

With the loss, Allen falls to 19-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Prosper (Prosper, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 15-17. Prosper won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Braswell (Little Elm, TX)
