Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kennedale Wildcats (Kennedale, TX), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 9-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Life Waxahachie for a 4A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Alvarado will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Godley (Godley, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Kennedale falls to 15-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Venus (Venus, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region II District 10 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 2-8.
