Spectators at Friday's league match between the John Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) and the host Arlington Admirals (LaGrangeville, NY), witnessed John Jay's softball squad prevail over Arlington by a count of 18-0.

The Patriots now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington for a Section 1 I - A match on Monday, April 17.

With the loss, Arlington moves to 3-1 on the season. The Admirals host Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, April 15.
