Utah High School Softball - South Summit holds off Ben Lomond

Spectators at Friday's league match between the South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT) and the host Ben Lomond Scots (Ogden, UT), witnessed South Summit's softball squad tip Ben Lomond by a count of 9-7.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Summit Academy for a non-league match on Monday, April 17. South Summit will meet a Bears squad coming off a 23-14 league win over Judge Memorial Catholic (Salt Lake City, UT). The Bears record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Ben Lomond moves to 4-5 on the season. The Scots travel to Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT) to meet the Soaring Eagle in a non-league match on Monday, April 17. The Soaring Eagle go into the match with a record of 5-5. Juan Diego Catholic lost 18-3 in their recent league match against Providence Hall (Herriman, UT)
