Texas High School Softball - Bowie holds off Johnson

Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX), 6-4 in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 19-16 record. They take the field next when they host Akins for a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Saturday, April 15.
With the loss, Johnson falls to 15-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Akins (Austin, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-14. Akins lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Bowie (Austin, TX)
