The crowd at Friday's league match between the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) and the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), saw Turner Ashby's softball squad achieve victory over Broadway by a count of 10-0.

The Knights now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrisonburg for a Valley match on Tuesday, April 18. Turner Ashby will face a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Broadway falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Gobblers travel to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 3-4. Jefferson Forest won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Staunton River (Moneta, VA)
