The Mustangs now own a 9-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Andress for a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Burges will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, El Paso falls to 9-15 on the campaign. The Tigers host Chapin (El Paso, TX) to battle the Huskies in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 20-7. Chapin won 21-8 in their recent league challenge against Canutillo (Canutillo, TX)
