Pennsylvania High School Softball - Burgettstown bounces Washington

April 14, 2023: Washington, PA 15301

The Burgettstown Blue Devils routed the host Washington Prexies softball squad by a final score of 13-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Blue Devils (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Chargers go into the WPIAL 2A 1 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart was routed by Charleroi (Charleroi, PA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Prexies now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bentworth for a WPIAL 2A 3 battle on Wednesday, April 19. Washington will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-3.
