The Saugus Centurions softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Castaic Coyotes to 0 in the Centurions league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Saugus moves its record to 14-9 on the year. The Centurions travel to Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a Foothill game on Tuesday, April 18. The Grizzlies come into the game with a record of 3-14.
In their next game, the Coyotes play the Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 17. Castaic will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Chancellors come into the game with a 1-9 record after their 10-8 league loss to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA).
