Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS), 14-1 in a league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 18-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brighton for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. Lewisburg will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-6.
With the loss, Center Hill falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) to battle the in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The enter the challenge with a record of 4-13.
