The Little River Academy Bumblebees softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting C.H. Yoe Yoemen to 6 in the Bumblebees league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Little River Academy improves its record to 22-8 on the year. The Bumblebees host Lorena (Lorena, TX) to clash with the Leopards in a 3A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Leopards come into the game with a record of 20-11. Lorena won 16-1 in their recent league game against Rockdale (Rockdale, TX)

In their next game, the Yoemen clash with the Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX) in a 3A Region III District 19 game, on Tuesday, April 18. C.H. Yoe will attempt to improve on its 11-17 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 24-5 record after their 10-2 league win over Rogers (Rogers, TX).
