Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 13-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Van for a 4A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Lindale will face a Vandals squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Athens (Athens, TX). The Vandals record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Chapel Hill falls to 0-17 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX) to face the Bears in a 4A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 13-12. Brownsboro won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Van (Van, TX)
