Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Braves now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Great Mills for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. Chopticon will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, North Point falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to battle the Panthers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. Patuxent won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
